A veteran of the U.S. Air Force, Gerald Robinson, MD, FACS, completed his training in general and vascular surgery at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and entered private practice in general and vascular surgery in Boca Raton, FL.
Dr. Robinson served as chief of surgery at Boca Raton Regional Hospital (BRRH), as well as a member of the Medical Executive Committee and the hospital’s board of trustees. He presently serves on the board of trustees of the Boca Raton Regional Hospital Foundation.
In 1999, Dr. Robinson started the BRRH Center for Wound Care and Hyperbaric Medicine where he served as its director, and he is currently a practicing physician at the facility. He also is chairman of the Palm Beach County Health Facilities Authority Advisory Board.
Dr. Robinson is currently the vice president and medical director of BocaCare, the physician network affiliated with Boca Raton Regional Hospital. In the past, he has held academic appointments at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, and at Florida Atlantic University Medical School. He is certified by the American Board of Surgery and is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons.
